Juice All-Stars Whitehead 16U vs Your Future Basketball 16U

Juice All-Stars-67
As a team, their defensive pressure was incredible everyone flies to the ball got on the floor for loose balls total team effort on the defensive end of the court. 6’0 2021 Isaiah Holman is a bad boy he was by far the best defender I saw over the weekend. Holman sits down and uses his quickness to beat his man to the spot came away with a handful of steals and deflections. 6’2 2022 Dylan Purnell is a promising young athlete has a nice handle and a smooth jumper should be one to monitor for the future. Holman and Purnell shared MVP honors for Juice All-Stars.

Your Future Basketball-59
6’2 Will Hornesby and 6’0 Jaziel Mensah tandem are just good as any two I saw over the last two days, you have Mensah the crafty ball-handler who gets in the paint and finishes through contact and makes difficult layups. Hornesby stretches the floor and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders or take them into the post. Mensah ended the game with 25 points and took home game MVP for his team.

SC Upstate Storm 16U vs Pro Skills-Winston Salem Charles 16U

SC Upstate Storm-49
6’2 2022 Josh Sapp was the centerpiece of the team big bodyguard who was unstoppable getting into the paint and does an amazing job securing rebounds. The MVP for SC Upstate was 5’10 Alexei Iturbe who had the hot hand knocked down 4 3-pointers in the game which opened up the floor for everyone else in this intense game.

Pro Skills-Winston Salem Charles-44
Pro Skills loss another tough one but they did show toughness and something to look forward to in the future. 6’0 2021 Sterling Charles Jr connected on 5 1st half 3-pointers and finished with 21 points. 6’0 2021 Garrett Hayes didn’t score a lot of points but he does all the little things to help put his team in winnable situations he had a very productive weekend.

Bull City Silverbacks 17U vs PSB Greensboro Battle 17U

PSB Greensboro Battle-75
PSB energy out the gate was incredible 6’1 2020 Jacob Chrapliwy got it going early and never cooled off, he was able to find the open spots on the floor and knock down shots. Jacob finished with MVP honors and 25 total points. 5’8 2020 guard Carter Wilson connected on 4 3-pointers and finished with 16 points.

Bull City Silverbacks-50
Dejuane Odom was the leader this game for them kept battling throughout even while being down most of the game he finished with 15 points.

Vizion 17U vs Manzer 17U

Manzer-72
The best game of the weekend on my court by far! This back and forth affair came down to OT and last shot. 5’10 2021 Payton Lewis is a stud with ice water running through his veins. Lewis is fearless he ended the game with 17 points but he had a much bigger impact than what the scorebook will say. Lewis had to be accounted for at all times during the game with or without the ball in his hands. 6’3 2019 Jevon Griffin added 10 points to help bring Manzer back from a double-digit deficit.

Vizion-71
6’4 2020 Derrick Jones Jr has springs in his calves he is relentless on the boards and a terror in transition. 6’1 2020 Nick Reese and 5’8 2019 Messiah Woods contributed also Reese finished with 13 while Woods ended with 12 his impact on the game was fun to watch knockdown shooter and is the head of the relentless defensive pressure they bring.
