2024 5'11 Eli Gillespie (NC Rim Runners 2024)

Eli is one of the most fundamentally sound players I saw today, pairing with a solid frame. Aside from being capable of playing both on and off the ball, Gillespie can guard either position on the defensive end. His ability to knock down perimeter jumpers aids his team, especially in late-game situations. He utilizes pass and shot fakes as well as anyone on the same floor as him.

5'10 2025 Nikayle Hodge (Team EAT 2025)

Nikayle Hodge is a tough shot-maker that made it a purpose to keep his team in contests through his scoring. Hodge deserves a great deal of credit for his efforts in this morning's contest, as his efforts on the offensive end kept the game close until the last 5 minutes or so. Aside from being able to knock down open shots, he showed he can hit shots with a hand in his face under pressure.

6'5 2024 Tanner Walters (NC Rim Runners 2025)

In a landscape where position-less basketball is becoming more and more prevalent, Walters fits a player model that I've seen experience productivity in high school basketball. Walters is a strong forward with a sharp IQ and rebounding capabilities. Showed he was capable of knocking down shots beyond the arc, as well as using his frame to clog the paint.

2025 6'3 Javon Williams (Team Trezz 2025)

One of the more impressive players I saw today, Williams already shows legitimate promise as a scholarship-level player. Williams' build as well as his scoring prowess tells the story of an experienced varsity-level guard with an aggressive mentality. Today he assumed a majority of this group's lead responsibilities.

6'3 2025 Thomas Andersen (Inspire Elite)

Certain players entice you for unexplainable reasons that seem obvious. Andersen is a solid scoring guard that showed an array of ways to impact the game on the offensive end.  Aside from showing the ability to pick his spots well, I liked how Anderson uses his frame to invite contact and keep his balance. He showed that he can hit shots in the midrange area as well as show high engagement defensively.

6'4 2024 Samuel Streeter (Strong Center 2024)

One of the more complete scoring performances of the day, Samuel Streeter is so intriguing standing around 6'4 with the scoring prowess he possesses. Streeter is engaged on the defensive end and shoots a dangerous three ball off the catch. When hot, he seeks out scoring opportunities for himself and attacks each one with an increased level of aggression. Always refreshing to see a volume scorer at this level who does not get complacent with inefficient scoring performances. Also liked his vocal presence on the floor.

2026 6'6 Willliam Bush (Upward Stars)

The most shocking prospect I saw today, William Bosh is a very young interior force that could easily contribute on numerous varsity rosters at this very moment. Still only 13 years old, Bush's presence in the low post both physically and vocally is remarkable for his age. I marveled at his matchup with Rivers Knight, even before learning his age, given the aggression Bush displayed denying entry passes in the low post. His presence on the floor is so physical, on-lookers were certain he'd fouled out prior to the second half starting. He never fouled out.
