2027 Syncere Caviness (Save Sports 2027 White)
Syncere is a quick guard that specializes and beating his defender off the dribble and getting downhill. I’m a fan of the energy Caviness plays with, keeping his team engaged on both ends throughout this weekend. Picked a few steals to help this group secure the win against a bigger team in his final game of the weekend. Someone who embodies the concept of “heart over height.”
2027 Kelby Sullivan (Carolina Premier)
Carmel Middle School product Kelby Sullivan could be a player who really surprises some people. Showed flashes of elite play this weekend and I enjoy how Sullivan moves with the ball in his hands. His lateral pop makes it difficult for defenders to stay in front of him, and I believe he has the potential to further refine a dangerous handle.
2027 Dwayne Louallen (Carolina Premier)
Another impressive Carolina Premier piece, Louallen served as a necessary and productive connector. Louallen is a powerful wing/forward that can push the ball up the floor in transition and does not shy away from contact. He protects the lane and uses his frame to carve out space for himself. We could very well see Dwayne log some vital high school minutes in his freshman year, regardless of which level his coach starts him out on.
2028 Brady Greene (CP3BA 8th Grade Joyner)
Brady was one of my favorite players on this roster, given his blend of toughness and consistency. A tough finisher that continues to get to the basket, Green created numerous opportunities for his teammates as well as himself. Defenders found it difficult to knock Greene off of his spot when he was playing on the ball. Believe he’ll have a productive summer leading into his 8th grade year.
2030 Kayden Richardson (TTNC)
Traditionally, I prefer not to highlight individual players at this age, rather emphasizing the play of their teams to create a clear understanding of what is truly important in this game. Despite this, I would be doing Kayden Richardson a disservice without noting the extremely high energy level and impressive length that he displayed this weekend. I love the passion Richardson moves with, both during play and after the whistle is blown. Aside from his passion for the game, Richardson is clearly a very respectful leader and person.
