6’ 2018 Greyson Collins (Carolina Wolves NC 16s)
By Jamie Shaw
Collins competes, there is no other real way to put it. His game is very productive and seems to make positive plays, on each possession, for either himself or his team surrounding him. The lefty capped the day with a 30 point performance, making 5 3s in the act. This outburst was par for the course on the day.
Collins has come to numerous Phenom events over the years, including individual showcase camps as well as team tournaments. After an NC Phenom 150 showcase camp last year, we wrote, “Collins is a tremendous competitor and knows how to score the ball. As a sophomore for Ragsdale last year, he was a solid contributor but heading into this season, Collins should be the go-to guy. He has tremendous range on his shot and is strong with the ball in his hands. All throughout the camp, this young man made plays, whether it was scoring, finding his teammates, or doing whatever was needed from him. Solid talent and should have a big junior year for Ragsdale. One to watch this season.”
Collins is falling under the radar, but is one to monitor closely. The way he competes is second to none, and judging by his track record, his production is very consistent at all levels.
