2020 point guard Jalen Cone is one of the most electrifying guards in the state at 15 years old.

Already tracking nationally, Cone debuted at No.5 back on our initial 2020 rankings a few months ago. 'Since then he's been shredding up the 15U Adidas Gauntlet circuit for Team Loaded. Cone is offensively gifted at a young age and he's a good shooter with serious range, an excellent passer, and rarely commits turnovers.

During our David Rose Classic, the Team Loaded coaching staff was so impressed with Cone's play he was bumped up to 17U. To speak on his conditioning and poise, on Day 2 of the event Cone played one half with 15U and then got assigned to the 17U team at halftime for the second half of their matchup. Cone trotted across the gym to an adjacent court and performed even better against prospects a few years out of his age group.

Cone ran with both squads throughout the tournament.' With Coach Harold Cone's 15U team the younger Cone showed off a complete scoring arsenal. The team was without second leading scorer Carter Whitt so he stepped it up. 'Cone blew by any defenders guarding him and finished at the cup with ease. When opposing coaches stacked the paint, Cone got hot from mid-range and the kid has dedicated a lot of time to his pull up game as its already polished. At times defenses attempted to triple team Cone in an effort to slow him down.

While playing with the Team Loaded 17u, Cone scored effectively but shifted into a distributor role, running the break effectively and put guys in position to get easy buckets on the offensive end. Cone squared off against majority of the top guards present and outplayed a lot of them. Loaded went 4-0 in impressive fashion over our two day event.

It's rare to see such a young player with a complete game, as Cone is explosive on both ends of the floor. With three more years to grow physically and develop his game before college, he could potentially be the next great Team Loaded floor general mentioned with the likes of Frank Mason, Tyler Lewis, and Dennis Smith, all guys had success at major D1 programs.' Duke, Kentucky, and Wake Forest are among the programs already showing serious interest for his services.

The sky's the limit Cone oozes potential but he is good enough to deliver now and he'll be one to watch in coming years.
