Memorial Day Weekend is a special weekend to share with family and friends.  But it also provides a chance for teams to compete in one of the best events around at the David Rose MDC with Phenom Hoops.

We have over 80 teams competing at a high-level, showcasing their talents and earning exposure! Come out and show your support, as well as support a great cause in the Wounded Warrior Project.

Check out a few names to look out for.

Team: Team Stacked 17u

2020 6’ Isaac Sinclair (Chapel Hill High School)

Sinclair is a high IQ vocal lead guard who can score from anywhere on the court.  He has next-level court vision and passing ability he uses to get everyone involved.  Sinclair has a great motor and defensive positioning that results in a lot of steals and deflections.  Coaches will love his team-first mentality, energy and leadership.

2020 6’7 Collin Wilson (Burlington Christian Academy)

Wilson has worked hard to shift his game from the post to the wing.  He has developed a reliable 3 point shot to compliment his interior scoring ability.  He runs the floor very well and has great mobility on the perimeter.  He blocks and alters a lot of shots and rebounds at a high rate. He is a double-double type of player.  Coaches will love his hustle, work ethic, and doesn’t take any plays off.

2020 6’1 Aaron Ross (Northwood High School)

Ross is a big, strong guard that uses his athleticism and quickness to his advantage on both ends of the floor. He is able to knock down shots from all three levels and can finish above the rim.  Ross is a great on-ball defender who can frustrate offenses and create turnovers.  Coaches will love his high energy, high tempo style of play and defensive awareness.

2020 6’3 Miles Merriweather (East Chapel Hill High School)

Merriweather is a big guard who can score on all three levels and play both guard spots or on the wing.  He is a smooth player who can slash and take advantage of his matchup.  Merriweather moves well without the ball and can impact the game with few touches.  He is tough and plays much bigger than his size.  Coaches will love his intangibles, consistency, and ability to make explosive plays above the rim.

2020 6’5 Brandon Williams (Rolesville High School)

Williams has great length and playmaking ability from the wing.  He is able to defend multiple positions and rebounds well.  He can heat up quickly and score in bunches from all over the floor.  He is a savvy offensive player and will find ways to take advantage of the defense.  Coaches will love his interior passing, slashing and ability to score in transition.
