Justin Busby

Busby has been to a few Phenom events over the years, but he had his signature moment at the Grassroots Tip Off Classic. It was there that Busby showed he can be a prolific scoring lead guard, creating big time plays for himself, but also creating stuff for his team mates.

During the Grassroots Tip Off Classic, Busby averaged over 25 points and 4 3s made per game. It was there he picked up heavy interest from VMI and Army. After a breakout performance in the prestigious South Carolina Top 80 we wrote,''Busby was yet another player that experienced a break out during the event. He showed the ability to play the point guard, where he had a confident handle and was able to get his team mates involved. Busby also showed a high level ability to make shots. He finished in the top 20 in scoring. Busby's camp coach Ryan Schmidt stated,''Justin shot the ball extremely well from beyond the arc, for the entire day. He was a sniper. He did a good job of playing with pace and got his team mates involved in the half court setting.''Busby should now be on the scene and is someone D1 schools should track closely.'

Busby's father is an all-timer at College of Charleston. The younger Busby didn't fall far from the tree. He is a very good shot maker and has a nice upside'heading into'the next level.
