Events like the David Rose Memorial Day Classic are great because they allow high level kids to get their shine, but it also allows new kids to take a step forward and make a name for themselves. One such case this year was 6'4' 2018 Tre Harvey, playing up in age for the Carolina Knights 17s.

Harvey is a lengthy lefty wing. He showed a diverse skill set throughout the day, as his team moved him around from the high post, to the wing, to playing on the ball. After watching him, one of our advanced scouts wrote, 'The lefty has a smooth stroke with an easy, natural pace. He shot the ball with confidence and range, and used his length with good anticipation in the passing lanes.'

On Saturday, Harvey went on to average 13.3 points, scoring between 12 and 16 in each game. He also connected on 7 3s throughout the day.
