’26 6’8” Will Stevens (Carolina Riptide 16u/Davidson Day)
Stevens possesses more upside than maybe any 2026 in attendance today. He hit 4 threes in his second game, finishing with 24 points. His comfortability and fluidity to move around the perimeter and set himself for CNS jumpers are wildly impressive for his age and size. Stevens is improving his handle and even broke out a few stutter rips that led to paint touches and open looks. His athleticism seems to be coming along as he’s contesting more and more shots at the rim and, more importantly, is getting off the floor quicker on his second efforts.
’26 Drew Robertson (Next Level SC Purple/Nation Ford)
On an incredibly deep and talented Next Level SC team, Robertson made his mark simply by blending in and filling every gap imaginable. He guards 1-4 and is a plus-level off-ball defender, making a lot of plays out of rotations. His offensive game was impressive, playing virtually every role and making an impressive play in a variety of different ways within those different roles. Made open jumpers, finished through contact, attacked closeouts well, created advantages with cuts to the rim, and flashed his passing feel with skips and kick outs.
’26 6’3” Jack Siegel (CC Elite/Providence)
Siegel is a guy that has consistently produced at every event he’s been to this spring. In his lone game today, he made great reads as an off-ball cutter and finished through contact better than I’ve seen before. Siegel doesn’t have a crazy tight handle, but he knows how to get to his spots, and he rarely gets sped up. He’s almost casual about his drives to the rim and is prone to taking what the defense gives him as opposed to forcing action.
’25 6’3” Will James Jr. (Strong Center/Holly Springs)
James Jr. continued his rapid ascent, scoring 28 without having to force action. He made good passing reads and showed no hesitation to get his teammates involved, a quality not often found in volume scorers. He’s grown increasingly comfortable drawing contact and was getting to the line at will. His off-the-dribble shooting is another part of his game that’s seen serious improvement. He plays with a good pace and has sped his release up enough to allow himself smaller shooting windows.
Other Notes
2024 Christian Anderson (TSF EYBL/Michigan Commit) was really controlled in his 17-point (and a win) performance against Upward Stars Columbia. Regarded as one of the best shooters in the county, Andrews excelled at using his shooting gravity to create advantages for both him and his teammates. He had a poised and focused process when attacking closeouts and feasted on simple passing reads.
2027 McKinley Hemsley (Wildcats Elite 16u/Voyager Academy) played up two years tonight and looked the part physically. He has a solid skill set that’s only going to get more refined, but he was able to impact possessions through opportunistic cuts and rebounds. His frame and size are enticing for a rising freshman and playing in these types of games are only going to speed up his development.
2026 Antwon Young (Next Level SC Purple/York Prep) was simply dominant in every part of the game. No one could stop him from getting to the rim. He has an incredibly mature frame for his age and uses every bit of it to his advantage. Elite rebounder and relentless finisher, just nothing that anyone could do today to slow him.
