In the world of high school basketball, development in one’s game is crucial. You have to be able to see the continuing development and progress in a player’s game, showing the work they have put in. One player that we have seen countless times over the years has been 2023 Caleb Senyo and it is clear that he has been putting in countless hours to improve his game overall.

Senyo is coming off an impressive season at Haywood Christian, where he averaged 24.7 points, 3.6 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.7 steals per game.  And when you watch how he operates on the floor, Senyo plays with excellent floor vision and playmaking skills.  Not only can he score from multiple levels and get to the basket/finish well, but he spaces the floor well.  He looks to set up others, making smart passes and on target, as well as be a capable scorer in a variety of ways.  That doesn’t mention his ability to be a pest on defense as well.

Just check out what Phenom Hoops has said recently about his game:

“Though it should come as no surprise, Senyo continues to showcase his abilities as an unselfish, team-first mentality as a floor general. He’s a smart, heady point guard prospect with excellent vision, scoring prowess, and an understanding of how to utilize his body to carve out space. He makes quality decisions with the ball in his hands, but can also apply nice scoring pressure alongside another primary ball-handler. Senyo continues to highlight steady improvements within his game.” – Jeff Bendel

“Caleb has built a reputation of one of the more consistent, tough guards in his class. He’s become known in my eyes for challenging top guards and facilitating at a high level. His court vision has been remarkable, now he’s starting to really expand his scoring capabilities altogether. He’s just as defensively focused as he was this previous school year, where he averaged 5.7 steals per game.“ – DeAjai Dawkins

“The “Do it All” point guard averaged 24.7 PPG and led the state in steals with 5.7 SPG, not to mention maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. Senyo is the epitome of a student athlete that plays hard, competes, and does all the little things that are important to winning. He knocked down 3-pointers, drove to the lane and was impressive making the right pass at the right time. He was the most complete guard in attendance and finished with 15 points.” – Rick Lewis

Senyo continues to make the progression in his game that should only earn him more attention from college programs and will make him a bigger name in the loaded class of 2023.
