Why Kansas fans should be excited:
Outside of landing one of the top players in the class for 2022, the Jayhawk fans should certainly be excited about the future of their program. Rice gives them their third commitment for the class of 2022, now joining Gradey Dick and Zuby Ejiofor and Rice will be able to be a big-offensive threat with his college-ready frame and ability to bully opponents. The freshmen class for Kansas is already exciting but knowing both Rice and freshman Bobby Pettiford, the future certainly looks bright as the Jayhawks continue to attract attention around the area.

He is able to use his strength and athleticism to break opponents down off the bounce and attack the basket, where he finishes above the rim and through contact.
