Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Jaden Springer
Class: 2020
Committed to: Tennessee

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“Offensively, he’s in a category of his own. Springer is able to create scoring opportunities on every possession, for himself or others, and does so with phenomenal efficiency. His athleticism and high-flying dunks are among his main attractions, but his IQ and unmatched scoring instinct will have coaches calling. Springer has always been a plus-defender and displays a strong understanding for how to shut down opposing guards.” – Jeff Bendel in 2018

“Jaden is blessed with athleticism and a matching skillset. The thing that separates Jaden from his peers is his competitive nature. Jaden plays hard and with an intense purpose. Jaden is very coachable. His athleticism is very high for his age/grade level. Looking forward to seeing great things in the future for him.” While his strongest attribute is his athleticism and physically maturity, he has a solid midrange jumper. More importantly, he plays with a chip on his shoulder. Jaden scored excellent marks in effort, team play, and ability to finish, defense on the ball, quickness, footwork and rebounding his position.” – NC Junior Phenom in 2014

“Even after his year at IMG Academy, it feels like Springer is slightly underrated. There simply are not ten players in the country better than him. Last year, he was easily the most impressive junior at this event, but was ultimately forced to sit with an injury. Springer has a complete game with IQ, size, vision, athleticism, and unmatched scoring ability. He checks every box and is capable of dominating every facet of the game. It would be difficult to envision any scenario where Springer doesn’t continue to look like an elite prospect during camp.” – Phenom Hoops at NBA Top 100 Camp

“Springer is a smooth and effortless combo guard who will look to follow in the feet of his father, Gary, as a McDonald’s All-American.” – Jamie Shaw in 2018

“He’s bulked up in a major way, probably adding 10-15 pounds of pure muscle, furthering his progression as a slasher due to his increased ability to handle contact when attacking.  He showed excellent point guard skills as well, acting as a co-primary ball handler..” – Phenom Hoops at Battle at the Rock in 2018
