Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Justice Jackson
Class: 2020
Committed to: Limestone

What the Player Said:

Q: What all went into your decision and what made Limestone the place for you'

Jackson: When I went on my visit, I liked what I saw… Coach Perry is trying to change the culture and really believes it can start with me.

Q: What kind of relationship did you develop with the staff there'

Jackson: We developed a great relationship and started talking almost every day.  Not only did we talk about basketball but just everyday things that family members would talk about.

Q: What are they hoping you can bring to the program and your goals'

Jackson: I hope I can bring a player who loves the game and wants to win just as much as the coaching staff.

Q: What will be your focus now with the decision behind you'

Jackson: Winning every game and doing everything it takes to win games.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'I would best describe my game on the court as, of course, a deep range sniper! I consistently knock down jump shots from wherever on the court through different coverages. As far as getting to the rim, I take my man off the dribble whenever I want, I could say that I'm just a gifted scorer that can score in so many different ways.' – Jackson back in 2019 in 1-on-1 interview

'Jackson is a bucket getting wing. He has a smooth shot and the ability to get open in the mid-range. Jackson has a great frame, with good length and showcased the ability to act as a secondary ball-handler. He showcased an innate feel for the game.' – Jamie Shaw in January 2020

'He's a smart, strong, team-first guard prospect with a clear-cut identity and incredibly accurate three-point shot. Jackson is a reliable creator for himself and others, which allows him to initiate the offense with relative ease, but typically operates as a lethal spot-up threat along the perimeter. He moves extremely well without the ball and shows the necessary capability to make the extra pass whenever available. Jackson is a useful all-around defender with a nice blend of strength and quickness. He also rebounds at a terrific rate for his size/position. Next in his development process is working on the use of his off-hand, as it would make him an even more lethal finisher through contact. Coach Duncan on Jackson: 'Justice has a silky-smooth jumper. His catch-and-shoot along with his pull-ups off the dribble were his greatest strengths. He has the ability to defend either wing position but can continue to work on his help-side rotations and jumping the pass. Justice was very coachable.' – SC Top 80 evaluation
