Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Gregory Jackson
Class: 2022
Committed to: South Carolina

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“He’s a smart, dynamic, extremely versatile two-way forward prospect with the ability to defend multiple positions and apply pressure in a variety of different ways offensively. Coach Savage on Jackson: “GG can do so many different things on the floor; he is really fun to watch. With the guards that he played with this weekend, the game was easy for him; he would run the floor and the guards would find him. He skied for put back dunks and alley-oops all evening, showing his versatility on the offensive and defensive end. With his size, he blocked many shots and rebounded at a high level. He can step out and make three-pointers or catch it and drive it to the rim. GG has so much versatility and is so skilled at his age.  He has high-major written all over him, and as he continues to sharpen up his all-around game, he will be another great Ridge View product.” Jackson continues to impress in every setting and should be a priority amongst all types of Division I coaches for the foreseeable future.” – SC Top 80 Evaluation

“Another young prospect that absolutely stole the show and eyes of our scouts.  But that isn’t too much of a surprise because the talent and potential that Jackson possesses could be seen early in his career.  Jackson is such a fluid forward with a terrific combination of skillset, athleticism, and size; he understands the game at a high level at a young age.  He displayed a remarkable ability to be a rim-protector, as well as one that can dominate on the glass.  He also has a very strong motor and is excellent in running the court, along with touch and feel around the basket.  It is no surprise that schools are flocking his way and offering him early because he is going to be one of the top talents in the 2023 class around the region.” – Patrick O’Brien

“In terms of excitement and potential, there aren’t too many prospects that are better than Jackson.  The lengthy, mobile forward has such a unique blend to his game that he becomes a matchup nightmare. He ran the floor, finished impressively at the rim, and is such a versatile forward on the court.  Think this is just the start for this young man and he could see his name rise up even more in the national rankings.”

“This is a young man that personally, was one of my favorites of the event. Such an incredibly nice person off the court, he absolutely brings it on the court. As far as potential, Jackson may top this list because his skillset, agility, mobility, and athleticism are all there in impressive fashion.  You can honestly have Jackson anywhere on the floor and he will be able to find success and makes such an impact on both sides of the floor.  Jackson is one of the most exciting players to watch down the road and could easily rise up even more in the national rankings.” – Patrick O’Brien
