Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Marcus Farley
Class: 2022
Committed to: Pfeiffer

Season in Review:

Lincoln Charter had a strong showing this past season, finishing the season 23-5 and Farley was a big part of that success.  On the season, he averaged 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.2 steals per game as a season.  He has also racked up 43 total games at Lincoln Charter over the last two seasons.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'Farley had a strong showing to start his day, going for 26 points to propel his team to the win.  Farley showed a balance attack and his ability to stay aggressive, showing off his athleticism and scoring on multiple levels but doing much of his damage inside the arc.  He had a strong start to his weekend and is hoping to do the same throughout the rest of his games.'

'A new addition to the program, Farley brings another weapon to the floor and one that can help Cogan with scoring.  Farley brings a nice athletic piece that works well out in transition, finishing strong at the rim, getting downhill, and pushing the ball.  A blend of athleticism and quickness helps him keep defenses on their heels, but also can knock down shots from outside.'

'6'3 Marcus Farley Jr. of Team Together simply just finds ways to put the ball in the basket. He has the unique ability to attack the defense in a wide variety of ways. He uses a blend of athleticism and quickness to keep the defense on their heels as he attacks the rim all game long. As defenses adjust to take away the drive, he quickly shows that he can also shoot the ball from three. He really runs the floor in transition which allows him to create for both himself and his teammates. He is a kid that just simply puts up numbers and is always a threat offensively.'

'6'2 Marcus Farley Jr. of Team Together 16U simply finds ways to score and put up numbers.. He is really great at getting into the lane and drawing contact; makes a living at the free-throw line. He has a quick first step that takes him all the way to the cup and is a crafty finisher. He shoots the ball well from three and makes open shots. Has a good IQ and plays within the offense, doesn't take bad shots. Definitely the offensive focal point for his team.'
