Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Bol Kuir
Class: 2022
Committed to: New Mexico State

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“Finishing up, we look at a player that was arguably the most intriguing long-term prospect from camp, Bol Kuir. He’s a long, wiry post prospect with incredible size and a blossoming two-way skillset. Kuir displays solid touch and feel around the basket, which makes him incredibly difficult to guard at his stature. He has quality hands and ran the floor exceptionally well in transition. Kuir plays with a strong motor, actively pursuing rebounds and protecting the rim with poise. Next in his development process is working on building strength, as it’ll only continue to improve his ability as a rebounder and rim-protector. Coach Whitmore on Kuir: “Bol did nice work today! He is a terrific teammate and is just beginning to scratch the surface. He can work on his left hand and overall jumper this offseason. I wish him the best of luck this season!” Kuir enjoyed a great showing at camp and should be monitored closely going forward, as he possesses tremendous upside.” – Phenom 150 evaluation

“If you are looking for length, look no further. This kid has length for days. Still learning to play the game but he moves well for his size. Defense is ahead of the offense but having a rim protector like him is never a bad thing. Rail thin and will need to add strength but you can’t teach 7’2. Once he grows into his frame and develops his game…. look out!”
