Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Jordan Vick
Class: 2024
Committed to: East Carolina

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'It was a slow first day for the 2024 guard but Vick started to find his rhythm on Day 2 and Day 3, reminding everyone of his scoring capability.  Vick is such an interesting guard for how well he can score the ball and in the number of ways he can do it in.  Whether it's his pull-up in transition, his ability to get by defenders with his quickness, or his athleticism to finish at the rim or get fouled, Vick mixes his offensive game really well.  Also continues to show his progress in getting others involved as well.'

'It's easy to see why folks love someone like Jordan Vick and his identity as a tough, crafty, athletic, shot-maker. Last season at Southern Nash, he posted nightly averages of 21.0 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 3.1 SPG while standing out as the undisputed leader on a game-to-game basis. While they are not exact copies of each other, Vick has a ton of similarities to Jalen Cone. Since the conclusion of high school ball, The Team Trezz star has found ways to dominate in majority of his showings during the spring. He's able to consistently create with the ball in his hands, displaying a tight handle and excellent understanding of angles/spacing. Vick makes highly difficult shots look routine, and can heat up quickly as a perimeter shooter. He also forces turnovers at a solid rate and can set up others when necessary.'

'Coming it, Vick was a known name and after a solid Day 1, he was really good on Day 2 for his team.  Vick continues to show how much of a dynamic scorer he can be, as he is strong and dynamic out in transition and forces defenders to foul him or he finishes, but also pulling up off the dribble.  There isn't a shot that he doesn't like and he won't take, as he continues to show how dynamic of a guard he is in North Carolina.'

'Vick came out strong on Day 2, really showing how big of a factor he can be offensively, getting out in transition, showing his athleticism, along with his ability to create for himself. But you also had to take notice of his defensive presence on plays and his activity level on both ends of the floor.'

'It was great to see our guy Vick on the court at the Phenom G3 and though he started out slow, by did he come our firing and show why he is one of the top players in his class, going off for 25 of his 27 points in the second half. Vick is simply wired to score and makes it look easy at times, penetrating the lane, knocking down perimeter shots with his jumper, displaying impressive athleticism as a guard' He stepped even in a big way when his team needed him, showing he isn't afraid to be the go-to guy at the end of the game.'

'Vick really impressed me as he put the team on his back this afternoon in a close game against Carolina Pressure. Throughout the Contest Jordan shot the ball extremely well and he also showcased his sneaky athleticism as he caught my eye with a poster slam. Moreover, he played under control and made the right decisions which will take him a long way as a player. Vick is a player coaches should definitely be taking a look at as he did a great job showcasing his ability to lead a group to victory today.'
