Swinton is a smooth, confident shot-maker from multiple levels, knocking down multiple threes from all over but also showing his mid-range shot as well. With his size and frame, he can really be a load to guard. He is a multi-level scorer but also has bounce with his game, finishing with power and flare at the rim. Swinton can really make his presence felt on both ends, whether it is scoring as well as defending as well. He holds multiple offers already.”
“AJ is an elite athlete who can impact a game in many ways. On the drive, his length and powerful rangy strides allow him to eat up real estate in a hurry as he slices his way through to the rim where he is a punishing finisher. He has great technique on his jumper; catches the ball shot-ready and elevates effortlessly getting great uplift in to a fluid stroke and high release. He is a very good shooter, especially on catch-and-shoot opportunists. He moves off the ball instinctively and manages to get to his kill spots where he can get hot and shred the nets at a high percentage. He has excellent length and a strong, athletic frame and explosive leaping ability. He rebounded the basketball and defended multiple positions. Showed good anticipation and quickness in passing lanes.”
