Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Kaleb Siler
Class: 2023
Committed to: Western Carolina

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'He's a big, strong-bodied post prospect with soft hands, quality footwork, and touch over either shoulder. Siler is a great two-way rebounder who clears out space, consistently boxes out, and capitalizes on putback opportunities. He finishes, alters shots, and understands how to produce within the flow of the action. Siler is a great midrange shooter and post-up option who can alter his approach based on matchup. Next in his development process is working to get quicker, as it would make him a more reliable defender in space. Coach Moore on Siler: 'Kaleb played really well around the basket. He needs to work on running the floor with increased intensity. Can also work on his conditioning and his overall motor.' Siler did a variety of things well during his time at camp, and should be a target for plenty of scholarship-level programs throughout his upcoming senior season.'

'Given the fact that he plays a major role on one of the top teams in North Carolina, one would expect Kaleb Siler to have a lot more action within his recruitment. He's another guy who should receive more appreciation for the steady, dependable manner in which he asserts himself within the flow of the action. Siler is a quality rebounder, finisher, and shot-altering presence who has made consistent improvements to his body over the recent months. He anchors the paint, runs the floor in transition, and finishes well around the basket. Siler is simply a guy that can contribute in a variety of different settings.'

'He's a big, sturdy post prospect with IQ, footwork, and soft touch around the basket. Siler utilizes his body very well to absorb contact on finishes, secure rebounds, and alter shots as a defensive anchor. He displays the makings of a respectable midrange jumper, but typically doesn't look to force the action or do too much with the ball in his hands. Siler runs the floor hard in transition, moves well as a cutter, and truly understands how to thrive within a low-maintenance role at all times. It'll be exciting to watch his progression over the next few years, as various types of scholarship-level schools have already begun laying groundwork.'
