Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Phenom: What made William & Mary the place for you'
Geddes: I believe that William & Mary is the perfect fit for me. I got along and fit in with the team. I really like and believe in what the coaches are building there. I also love the high academics that William & Mary has to offer.
Phenom: What were some of the deciding factors in your decision'
Geddes: When I started this journey, I made a list of things I was looking for when selecting a college. I wanted a high academic college. I wanted coaches that believed in me to the fullest and a team culture that could help me grow and develop.
Phenom: How did you inform the staff of your decision'
Geddes: I facetimed the head coach to let her know that I wanted to commit. She was out shopping with two of the other coaches. They were so excited.
Phenom: What do you hope to bring to the program with your game'
Geddes: I hope to continue to bring my offense of shooting and getting to the basket as well as my high-pressure defense. I also want to use my speed and control of the pace of the game to play at a fast pace.

'2023 Cassidy Geddes (Lady Attack National): Geddes was another fan favorite of mine. Every time she was on the court, she produced and showcased how big of a playmaker she can be. She is coming off a terrific high school season at Newton-Conover and is bringing it here with Lady Attack. Her ability to create her own shot or find her teammates was fun to watch, along with her IQ and feel. Geddes was terrific with her ball-handling, showing how shifty she can be and how dynamic she is in the open floor.'
'I would say I play a very versatile game. I have really developed my ability to score in multiple ways at all three levels. On the defensive side, I really pressure the ball and generate a lot of turnovers, which I can turn into points. Also, my high basketball IQ allows me to make plays for my teammates.'
'Geddes instantly caught our eyes with her play. She was simply off the charts in how she operated, scoring in a variety of ways. She is an athletic guard that defends well on one side and is quick in creating for herself, getting downhill, and knocking down shots from multiple levels.'
