Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.
Here is the latest commitment.
Player: Bryce Cash
Class: 2023
Committed to: Queens
What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:
“Personally, this type of oversight is purely sickening. Cash represents everything right about the game, yet gets overlooked for no real reason. Folks will see the buzzword “low-maintenance” used quite often, but the 6-foot-5 wing legitimately epitomizes the phrase. There has to be more appreciation for a guy who is capable of leading a team as a focal point but understands and embraces his value as a role player. Not to regurgitate past entries, but it’s difficult to ignore the constant growth Cash has showcased over each season. He shined as a leader and true focal point for Charlotte Christian across the last three years. Cash comfortably dictated the action, offered a balanced all-around identity, and steadily erased his deficiencies over time.”
“C ash continued to do everything he has been doing this season, and he stepped up and made huge plays in what felt like a Top-25 national game. Cash is just a different animal on the court, especially when he is getting downhill and attacking as there isn’t much you can do to slow him down. He is able to embrace contact, be physical at multiple positions, guard all over the court, and continue to make big plays and shots when his team needs him the most. But again, this is just another day at the office for this senior.”
“Gets tiring in letting people know about Cash; just let his game do the talking. He did that on Day 3 in leading the charge, as he checked off nearly every box you can think of. Knocking down shots from behind the arc, finishing at the rim, being a terror on defense, physically imposing on the boards, and just being a leader on the floor. Another excellent showing from the senior.” “It’s unclear as to why Cash doesn’t have more action within his recruitment. Between his IQ, maturity, toughness, and unselfishness, he truly does check all the boxes for being an extremely low-maintenance player who produces on both ends of the floor. He possesses a strong, physically overwhelming 6-foot-5 frame with the necessary length and athleticism to cause problems for all types of opponents. Cash is an elite defender and rebounder for his position, and plays bigger than his size in both areas, but also handles, passes, and scores the ball well. There’s really nothing but positives to say about him, so kudos to whatever program secures his commitment.”
