Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Luke Krawczyk
Class: 2022
Committed to: Navy

What He Said:

Phenom: What ultimately made the place for you in the end'
Krawczyk: It is one of the best academic schools in the nation, which will help set me up for the rest of my life and they have a really good basketball program that I would fit really well into.

Phenom: How did you inform the staff of your decision'
Krawczyk: I went on an official visit last weekend and knew it was the right time.

Phenom: What really stood from that visit and some determining factors that went into your decision'
Krawczyk: The biggest thing that stood out to me was the brotherhood between the teammates, they all seem to have great relationships with each other and the coaches.  It also helped to see that everyone there is a normal kid just like me who got a great opportunity.

Phenom: What are they hoping that you can bring with your game to the court for them'
Krawczyk: They like the way I can run/stretch the floor.  Also being able to finish inside and think I will be able to help them in those ways.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'I would say as I've been working these past few months, defense has become a big part of my game and offensively, I have been more of an interior presence mixed in with a little bit of shooting.' ' Krawczyk talking about his game in 2020

'2022 6'8 Luke Krawczyk has continued his stellar play this summer and is looking to do the same this season. He looks more fluid and is becoming an even bigger threat with his ability to stretch the floor, his mobility, and still getting stronger to battle down low.' ' Phenom Hoops Open Gym

'Krawczyk continues to elevate his game each time we have seen him on the floor this summer. What you have to notice more about his game is his activity level and willingness to be more of a force around the rim. The forward moves incredibly well all throughout the court, whether it is stepping outside or moving to create easy opportunities for himself around the rim. Krawczyk continues to take those steps in his game, which is why more schools are coming his way.'

'The Mint Hill Lakers continue to stand out as one of the better independent teams in the state, and Krawczyk is a massive part of their overall success. His identity as a tough, sturdy interior presence on both ends of the floor allows him to consistently affect the action without requiring a ton of offensive touches. Krawczyk is a reliable pick-and-pop option with the ability to rebound and finish effectively.'
