Each and every time Phenom Hoop Report gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day.  It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.

Here is the latest commitment.

Player: Trey Pittman

Committed to: Lynchburg

What the Player Said:

PHR: What made Lynchburg the place for you in the end and what all went into your decision?

Pittman: It was the best fit for me.  I liked the coaching staff and where the program was headed.

PHR: What did the staff say when you told them?

Pittman: They were excited and ready for me to get down there.

PHR: As far as your game, what are you hoping to bring to the program?

Pittman: Versatility and winning.  I haven’t lost very much in my career and I don’t plan on doing it in college.

PHR: What will be your focus now this offseason?

Pittman: Working a lot on my explosiveness to get ready for the next level.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

“He’s a wiry, skilled, high-motor forward prospect that truly knows how to do it all on the court. Pittman is somewhat unassuming but consistently fills up the stat sheet, regardless of setting or opponent. He can reliably handle, pass, and shoot the ball but also does great job of making his presence felt as a two-way rebounder.” – Phenom 150 Camps

“It’s easy to look at Greenfield’s roster and get excited about their array of guards, but Pittman is truly as important as anyone on this team. His willingness to do the little things is somewhat unique, but his approach never wavers. Pittman has gone from just a high-motor post prospect to an all-around guy with the ability to space the floor, work on the block, and setup others within the flow of the offense. He’s the type of player that every team can utilize.” – Jeff Bendel from National Showcase 2019

“Pittman is a name everyone knows. He has been an integral piece to winning state championships. He is a mismatch forward, who is skilled and fundamentally sound. He plays the game the right way and scholarship schools should be thrilled to get him.” – NC Phenom 150 Camp in 2019
