Q: What did they have to say in how they would use you in their system'

Hien: He said I can play positions 1 through 4 and stretch the floor to shoot it and attack the glass from the outside.' Sort of a little bit of everything.

Q: How did you inform the coaches about your decision'

Hien: I was on a visit today (Thursday) to watch practice and hangout with the team at the pool and I told them then.

Q: What is going to be your focus now that you have decided'

Stats Last Season:

Hien helped Concord First Assembly to a 27-6 overall record, averaging 12.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game last season.

What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:

'Hien is an incredibly intriguing prospect with his crazy size and length to go with his shooting touch and athletic gifts.' He holds a handful of D1 offers and the trajectory of his recruitment is without a doubt headed in the right direction.' When on the perimeter he moves without the ball well, steps into his shot with a ton of confidence, and is a lethal threat from outside when he gets going.' On the interior, he tries to dunk anything he can with a legit touch over both shoulders on the block.' He needs to add strength, but he knows that and has continued to develop his body to prepare himself for the next level.' ' 2019 Myers Park Summer League

'Hien continues to prove himself on the court.' Phenom Hoops has said that we love his versatility and length, along with his skill set and he continues to put it together on the court.' In the victory, he ran the floor really well and had quite a few strong finishes at the rim.' However, he also continued to show his ability to knock down the open jumper, use his size to his advantage, and move without the ball very well. Another intriguing factor to his game is that his eyes are always moving on defense, locating ball and defender, while sitting down on defense.' ' Game Recap in 2019

'The most unique player on display was Hien, who showcased more versatility than anyone else throughout the morning. At 6-foot-7 with guard-like skills, he's able to utilize his ball-handling ability to break down and cause problems for all types of opponents. Hien is unselfish and sees the floor unbelievably well for his size, able to initiate offense or create opportunities for others with relative ease. He's a deadly shooter and capable scorer from anywhere on the floor, and surprising ability to play above the rim. Hien is a quality defender that knows how to properly move his feet in space.'
