What Was Said by Phenom Hoops:
“Green is an incredibly skilled and fundamental player. He has great vision and he really shoots the cover off the ball. Green has played at the highest level through travel ball and in state championships in school ball. It’s about the time the offers start coming, Green makes the team better.” – Jamie Shaw
“Mike Green will always bring consistency and a workmanlike approach to the game. Green simply knows the game. He is one of the more fundamentally sound player and has an advanced basketball IQ. More importantly, we’ve been impressed over the years and again this weekend with the degree of competitiveness he brings to the game. To put it simply, he is a true competitor and values winning. While Green is an effective 3-level scorer, he brings so much value with his unlimited intangibles and attributes. Green finished with 21 points including five 3-pointers and a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line.” – Rick Lewis, Porter Gaud Holiday Classic in 2018
“Green is one of the more versatile lead guards in the region largely due to an incredible basketball IQ and a well-rounded skillset. He’s not going to blow you away with any one area in particular, but he’s incredibly well rounded with the way he attacks a defense, using his teammates to create offense in such a methodical fashion.” – Phenom Summer Jam in 2018
