Providence Day has quickly caught the attention of many and the reasons are clear to see when watching this team in action. There is talent to be found all over the court for college coaches and one of the rising talents and big men in the state is 2023 6'10 Riley Allenspach.
Yes, he has been a talent that college coaches have already been able to watch and are expressing interest in, as George Mason, Appalachian State, East Carolina, Furman, Yale, Army, and Mercer have all offered already.
But from what we have seen over the last few months is a big man that continues to elevate his play and only get better, becoming more comfortable in his size and his confidence continuing to rise. When watching Allenspach at the Phenom Holiday Classic, one can see that he is becoming more fluid as an athlete as well as understanding how he can control the paint with his size. His footwork has continued to improve, he is only getting stronger in the paint as he finishes better through contact and really controls the glass, and he continues to expand his comfort level from the mid-range and further out.
