What a weekend for HoopState teams!!! So many teams made a ton of noise this past weekend from North Carolina and Combine Academy put everyone BACK on notice that they are still one of the premier programs in the nation' it is time to recognize that if you haven't already.

On the national stage at the Battle in the Bluff, Combine Academy (led by one of the top coaches in the country Jeff McInnis) went up against No. 5 SoCal Academy (CA) and Top-10 program Hillcrest, both sending them home with losses.

Combine gave SoCal Academy their first loss on the season on Friday night, defeating them 67-58 led by their big man Patrick Wessler who had 24 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks.  2022 Jayden Epps chipped in with 14 points and others stepped up on the big stage.  They then backed that up with another impressive Top-10 victory, sending Hillcrest Prep home with a 79-69 loss.  Epps led the charge in that impressive victory, scoring 29 points while big man Pat had himself another double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

With the two strong victories, Combine should be right back in the national spotlight (not that they ever really left in the first place).' But, one thing is for sure, Coach McInnis and Combine National represented the HoopState in incredible fashion on a national platform, putting everyone on notice of the talent and level of play from the state.
