What a Monday it was for the HoopState and the news that was coming in.  One of the biggest announcements nationally on Monday night was the addition of 2024 Trentyn Flowers to Combine Academy, giving the Goats yet another big-time prospect to an already loaded roster. Flowers, who is a 6’9 prospect that brings a unique skill set to the table, will be joining a roster that already included 2023 Silas Demary Jr, 2023 Collin Tanner, 2024 Rakease Passmore, and several other big names that will have Combine Academy right back in the national discussion under new head coach Mike Wright.

Flowers is such an interesting prospect and should be quickly one of the top prospects in the state of North Carolina.  As mentioned above, he is a 6’9 forward that has a unique skill set; whether it is his ability to handle and make plays, find his teammates, score in a variety of ways, and use his size to his advantage on the glass as well as on defense, Flowers will be used in so many ways on the court with Combine Academy.

Phenom Hoops spoke with Flowers back in December of 2021, and this is what he had to say about his game:

“I’m a unicorn.  I can do everything at my size; I’m a point forward.  Just my playmaking and point guard abilities.  Everyone knows I can score, rebound, and block shots but just showing I have another side of my game.”

Flowers already has multiple offers from big-time programs around the country.  His most recent offers have come from West Virginia, Oregon, Virginia Tech, UCF, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and several others.  When speaking to Flowers back in December, he also said he was receiving interest from Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, and others.
