A few weeks back, Phenom Hoops was on the sidelines to watch 2018 6'8 Dimitri Georgiadis from Benedictine Prep.

Georgiadis is a Virginia Top80 Alum and one that could be seeing his recruitment and interest start to increase.' The forward seems to have solid basketball IQ and a great work ethic, as one can see his potential.' He also has nice size, works hard down low on the paint on offense and on the boards on defense, while also having his hands up and ready to go for his teammates.

His recruitment though hasn't taken off yet but that could change this summer if he can produce.' Recently, Georgiadis decided to play for Team Charlotte 17U, a recent announcement he made.

With the exposure and continued development, he could start seeing his recent interest turn into offers, as this young man as the potential to be a double-double type guy down low.' He continues to impress our analysts at Phenom Hoops, as he has been a regular in several past pieces from different events.

Phenom Hoops said this back in 2015 while watching Georgiadis.

'He's the type of kid that coaches love to have on their roster. Georgiadis is brilliant player with an extremely high basketball IQ and loads of potential. Offensively, this stud is a double-double machine. Board after board, put-back after put-back, this 6'8' rising sophomore continuously gets the job done. Two things that separate this baller from the rest of the pack are his footwork and fundamentals deep in the trenches at such a young age. Georgiadis displayed lethal post moves throughout the course of the tournament and showed off his beautiful mid-range jump shot on countless occasions.'

At the Virginia Top 80, the coaches had this to say about the Virginia forward.

'It was great to watch Georgiadis during camp because of his work ethic. Even though he was one of the younger participants in camp, he displayed a confident offensive repertoire. Georgiadis' Camp Coach Robert Churchwell stated, 'Dimitri is a good young prospect. He has a high ceiling with continued hard work.' As he continues to progress we would like to see him continue to pay attention to his footwork and hips. Good day for the young man.'

Right now, Georgiadis has received interest from Lehigh, Princeton, Creighton, VMI, Charlotte, Clemson, American, Delaware, Longwood, and Cal Poly, while Longwood and VMI coming on strong.

But this young man could really see a rise in those interests after this season and during the summer with Team Charlotte.
