The duo of 2022 6'1 Landon King and 2022 5'10 CeDrek Mangum had it going in Rock Hill this past weekend at the Coach Rick's TOC.'

King is one we have seen multiple times before, with a lot of it being this past high school season at Independence. The guard really has shown consistently how much of a scoring guard he can be and help carry the load offensively.' His ability to operate and score inside and out, change direction, use his change of speed, and ability to get to the rack and finish is where he thrives, as he was one of the top-scoring guards at the event.' King had games in which he posted scoring outputs of 18, 28, 27, and 16.

Mangum was the other part of the duo that really shined for the Charlotte Guards, posting games of 16, 28, 17, and 16 in Rock Hill. He is also a quick, shifty guard on the floor that puts pressure on a defense with his ability to step out or attack, penetrating the lane with his dribble.  He continues to show a nice balance in his game with his aggressiveness, really scoring in a variety of ways.

Both guards really played at a high level and showed how much scoring power they can bring to the table for their team.  King and Mangum finished off the LIVE period in a big way and will look to do the same in the near future, so be sure to mark them down as ones to watch.
