The second day of our third annual Tyler Lewis HoopFest carried onward with arguably the most exciting matchup of the event taking place between Chambers High School and Caldwell Academy. Play kicked off with Chambers striking early, forcing turnovers, and finding consistent success on offense. Guys like Tarris Bouie and Jaydon Terrell were important in building the lead but Maurio Hanson shined as the most productive player throughout the opening half, allowing Chambers to hold a 34-26 lead at halftime. Following the break, the Eagles battled behind the play of J3 Swindell, Ayden Johnson, and Jaylen Cross. However, it simply wouldn’t be enough, as Chambers went on to secure a 70-62 victory over Caldwell Academy.
