With an absolutely packed house already, Greensboro Day headed down I-85 to take on Chambers in what looked to be an absolute show. Both teams started to look strong early and wanting to play their game, as GDS hit a few early shots but then Chambers started to get going. Chambers was able to get a late bucket to go up two points at the end of the first quarter. In the second quarter, it was a back-and-forth affair with both teams trading blows. And it ended that way at halftime, with the score being all tied up at 22 apiece.

The second half wasn't much different than the first; Chambers and Greensboro Day continued to trade blows throughout the game with Chambers gaining the narrow edge by the end of the third quarter, 35-31.  But this was a game of small runs and it looked like it was going to come down to who would have the last punch.  The game eventually ended up becoming tied again mid-way through the fourth quarter, as it was coming down to the end.

Chambers was up two and looking for the foul, but turned it over late with 3.4 to go. That is when, once again, 2023 Jaydon Young stepped up and hit the game-tying bucket to send this game into overtime. Adding another four minutes, this game once again was coming down to the final seconds of the game.  Greensboro Day was able to get to the line, and Young hit one of two, leading 48-47 with 5.5 to go in overtime.  Chambers had a chance at the end but came up short as Greensboro Day secured the win.
