Second game of the afternoon, as Asheville School and Rocky River hit the road to Matthews to square off against each other. Asheville started out strong to jump out to an early double-digit lead, being up 15-5 after the first quarter.  But Rocky River started to pick up its energy on both ends and playing with a bit more pace, as they were able to chip into the lead before halftime, cutting it in half and being down 25-20.  '23 Derin Saran and '24 Ryan Soulis led the way for Asheville, while '24 Shamari Johnson was the hot hand early on for Rocky River.

Second half, Asheville was able to maintain its lead and eventually expand it back up to double-digits in the third quarter, with Saran continuing to lead the charge while '23 Murathan Kocaman chipping in as well down in the paint.  Johnson for Rocky River continued to be everywhere and play extremely hard, while others were able to make plays. But Asheville simply continued to expand to a comfortable lead midway through the fourth quarter and never look back.
