The Carmel Christian MLK Showcase is going to be an absolute show, as private schools and public schools square up on the hardwood Saturday afternoon and Phenom Hoops will be helping lead the charge. Another fantastic and must-see event from Phenom, come out and enjoy a day of basketball.

Now, we look to break down each game and what to watch!
3:00PM – Rocky River HS vs. Asheville Christian
We move on to the next battle at the Carmel Christian MLK Showcase, this time looking at the 3PM slot between Rocky River and Asheville Christian. When you first look at this matchup, you automatically think of the 2022 De'Ante Green show, who has been absolutely terrific this season and certainly a candidate for Player of the Year honors. Green has been putting up huge numbers this season and we haven't seen anyone that can slow him down… will Rocky River be able to' The Lions though also have intriguing talents in 2023 Dante Oliver, 2023 Dyllan Barnwell, 2022 James Wilkins III, and others that certainly look to be up to the challenge, as Asheville Christian looks to make a run halfway through the season.
The Ravens have had a strong season as well, racking up some strong wins but also playing a tough schedule early on. 2023 Jaden Lyles has been the leader for this team, posting averages of 18ppg with 2023 Henry Price also playing strong (11ppg, 5.5rpg). This is an experienced team with juniors and seniors, with all of them really coming together early on in the season. This will be a big stage and chance for Rocky River to really welcome themselves to the party in North Carolina with a big win. Two very intriguing teams square up in this matchup and this is only the third game of the afternoon!
