Now, we look to break down each game and what to watch!

1::30PM – Asheville School vs. Concord Academy

Next up on the schedule, fans get a treat with some very talented programs matching up in Charlotte. Asheville School, which some have yet to see, will be rolling through to take on Concord Academy, a program that has taken on all challenges this season and has talent you will see at the next level.

Starting with Asheville School, you have to first start with one of the most talented players in the state in 2023 Gus Yalden, who has been putting up some fantastic numbers this season, averaging nearly 18 points per game for his team. He is a very talented big with great footwork and skillset, as he creates matchup problems once he steps on the court. But the Blues also have several other talented prospects, including Stony Brook commit Leon Nahar, a long prospect that can impact the floor in an array of ways, a very talented 2023 prospect in Derin Saran who is a crafty point guard helping lead the charge, and others like 2023 Kaden Holdbrook and 2023 Michael Mora, both of which are having solid seasons so far.

Concord Academy, led by head coach Frank Cantadore, brings in some premier talent as well and it starts with one of the fastest rising and talented sophomores in the state in 2024 6’9 Kany Tchanda. He is going to be one of not if but when the big-time schools start coming through, as he has been averaging 14.1ppg and 8.6rpg this season to lead the team. 2023 Noah Van Bibber has been shooting the ball well and fit in nicely, as he looks to make another statement on the big stage as well. Then you have some talented guards in Jayden Munson, DJ Cuttino, Carson Cooke, and others that can make a difference.

This looks to be a very even matchup with two big-time prospects looking to matchup on the court. That is why this is just another can’t-miss game in a loaded event for Saturday in Charlotte.
