Day 2 at the Carmel Tip-Off started off with a very intriguing matchup, as Quality Education was looking to bounce back from a Day 1 loss, and we were getting out first viewing of Westminster Catawba and what they had to offer.

Both teams started out a little slow offensively, but QEA was able to take the early lead behind the play of AJ Reeves (who had seven first-half points) and Jermauriyun Anderson.' But overall, it was a balanced attack from QEA, playing strong defense, helping on the boards, and finding ways to get inside the arc to score.' Westminster Catawba was right there though for much of the first half, as they were able to get on the boards and knock down outside shots.' It was still a battle, as QEA held the 25-18 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Quality Education continued to find some success offensively, getting out in transition and being active defensively.' It allowed them to increase their lead to double-digits midway through the third quarter and they were able to expand that to as many as 16 by the end of the third quarter.

Westminster Catawba was able to chip away early to start the fourth but Quality Education was just too much in the end as they were able to walk away with a 66-50 victory on Day 2.
