Last game of the night on Day 1 at the Carmel Tip Off, the host team of Carmel Christian entered the court to take on Forsyth Country Day. Two teams that we were excited to learn more about, both came out strong and the experienced players stepped up early in this one. Forsyth Country Day came out strong behind 2024 Iverson King, but Carmel was able to tie the game after the first quarter at 13. The lead was going back and forth, as both teams seemingly made small runs to trade the lead throughout the first half.  The senior duo of 2024 Iverson King and 2024 Bobby Cannon were strong for Forsyth, but Carmel had its own duo getting it going with 2025 Bryce Slay and 2024 Kameron Taylor filling it up.  It was a tight battle throughout, with Forsyth County Day holding the narrow 35-32 lead at halftime.

In the third quarter, that was when we had our first n of the game as Forsyth was able to jump out to a double-digit lead halfway through the game and was able to maintain that until the end of the quarter.  It was a balanced attack overall, with six different players scoring in the quarter led by King and Cannon.  Slay was the only main guy to continue his offense in the third quarter for Carmel, as Forsyth led 58-46 at the end of the third.

Forsyth Country Day continued to attack and build upon its lead, as the balanced attack was too much in the end. FCDS was able to take home an impressive road victory 76-56 in the end.
