The last game of the night, as Northwood Temple traveled to take on the home team Carmel Christian in what ended a great Day 1 at the Carmel Tip-Off. Carmel Christian came in strong in showing why they were being ranked as one of the top teams in the state, both on the offensive and defensive end. The three-ball started to fall early for Carmel Christian, but they also created havoc defensively for Northwood Temple. That is what helped them get out to an early 21-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Second half, Northwood Temple started to find some rhythm in their game, as shots from outside started to fall from Cannon Keziah, as he scored 11 first-half points.  But the balanced attack from Bryce Cash, Jaeden Mustaf, Khamani Wertz, and Michael Marcus was strong in the first half, scoring inside and out.  That balanced play really helped Carmel Christian maintain that double-digit lead throughout and walk into the locker room with a 34-22 halftime lead.

In the second half, Carmel Christian was able to maintain their lead for much of the third but in the fourth quarter, Northwood Temple was able to create some turnovers and cut into the lead halfway through.  With the lead sitting around seven around the four-minute mark, it was time to see who would make that last push. Northwood Temple started to, cutting the lead down to five (56-51) but that is when Carmel Christian started to turn it on and attack, expanding their lead late back to double digits and ultimately earning the victory at home.
