It was the final game of the night, as the hosting school Carmel Christian welcomed Asheville School for a showdown that would end what has been an absolutely insane event to start the season. Carmel Christian came out strong and attacked the paint, with Bryce Cash and Jaeden Mustaf leading the charge in the first half. But Asheville School started to settle down, run their offense, and get the ball into their playmakers' hands. Derin Saran, Michael Mora, and others started to make plays and hit shots, while Carmel's offense struggled to find consistency. It is what allowed Asheville School to erase the early deficit and take a halftime lead at 28-23.

Both teams came out strong on both ends of the floor, with Asheville School still having their go-to leaders lead the charge but Carmel started to pick up the intensity as well both offensively and defensively.  This was a terrific battle between these two teams and it looked like it was going to be another down-to-the-wire game (wouldn't have it any other way).

Heading into the fourth quarter, this was a game that started to come down to the wire with Carmel Christian holding the narrow lead with under three minutes to go.  Though Asheville School had chances, Carmel Christian was able to answer the bell and make strong plays and free throws down the wire, ultimately earning the 58-54 victory.
