Davidson Day vs. Burlington School
It was a tremendous matchup to start the event, with two teams that have proven before the be title contenders. They also brought two big-time talents to the court in 2025 Isaiah Denis and 2027 King Gibson, as they proved that throughout the game. Gibson started off early scoring, facilitating, and impacting the game while 2026 Drew Johnson found success from outside. Denis got things going for Davidson Day, as TBS held a 30-28 halftime lead. The narrow lead continued throughout the third and fourth quarters, with teams exchanging the lead. In the end, Davidson Day held a two-point lead late and TBS looking to tie or take the lead, but King came up short. 2026 Will Stevens was able to go 1-for-2 from the line, giving TBS one last shot and it was Davidson Day gave up a late foul to send Johnson to the line for three free throws. He hit them all and we went into overtime at 64. In overtime, TBS came out strong early on but Davidson Day was able to answer, tying it late at 69 with under a minute. 2026 Aj Washington hit two big threes but it was Gibson who answered once again to tie it again at 72, heading into another overtime. In the second overtime, both teams traded blows but it was Davidson Day who was able to create just a little space from the line, ultimately sealing an 80-76 victory.

Combine Academy vs. Burlington Christian
Second game of the night after an exciting Game 1, it was BCA taking on Combine Academy in this one. Both teams started out strong, but the guard play of Combine started to get to work early and often, as 2025 Kaden Magwood, 2025 Caleb Thomas, and others led the charge early to create a double-digit lead after one. They were able to continue that offensive production with 2025 Josiah Parker also getting in on the action, as Combine led 48-26 at halftime. 2027 Charles Pur was strong early on for BCA, being active offensively and on the glass. However, Combine was just too much in the second half as they continued to expand their lead and eventually cruised to a 92-57 victory.

Carmel Christian vs. Grace Christian
Final game of the night on Day 1, as Carmel Christian and Grace Christian looked to battle it out on the court in front of the home crowd. It was a bit of a slow start but Carmel Christian led by 2025 Bryce Slay got things going to take the early 10-6 lead after one. But 2025 Michael Phillips and Grace Christian stayed right within striking distance, with Phillips and 2028 Colinn Morris chipping in. Carmel Christian though was able to get the narrow lead heading into halftime, 28-24. In the third quarter, Grace Christian started to get it going offensive, with Phillips leading the way. The Eagles were able to score 22 points in the quarter and take a 46-40 lead heading into the fourth. The final quarter was a wild one, as the teams traded blows back and forth all throughout. Carmel was right there in the end with a chance to tie it but Slay’s final three just missed and Grace Christian was able to walk away with a 62-59 road victory.
