Carmel Christian Tip-Off Christian Event Link

The week is finally here high school basketball fans… The season is here for Phenom Hoop Report and we are kicking off the high school year in a big way in Charlotte this weekend with the Carmel Christian Tip-Off Classic.

With a loaded schedule and a full breakdown, which can be found here (Click Here), we start our coverage by break down a few teams at the event.

Team: Christ School

2020 6’10 C Justice Ajogbor (Committed to Harvard)

It has been some time since we have seen Ajogbor on the court but now he is back and looking fantastic. The big man looks in shape and ready to go, as he will be a dominant force in the paint. Ajogbor will be a double-double machine, as he can really attack the boards but also showcase timing, patience, soft hands, and somewhat of an old-school game on offense. There is a reason why he is regarded as a Top-100 prospect in the country.

2022 6’9 F DeAnte Green

Green is part of the two towers for Christ School but he brings another dimension to this offense. Not only can he be a player down low around the rim but now he has put in the work to step out with a ton of confidence and showcase his consistency from deep. Green has attracted schools from around the country and could be in for a big year, as he already holds offers from DePaul, Texas A&M, Penn State, and others. You won’t want to miss an opportunity to watch this young man in action.

2021 5’10 PG Drew Redmond

What he lacks in size, Redmond makes up with his play. Redmond brings leadership and ball-handling to the floor immediately, as he uses his speed to push the ball and get by defenders to score or dish it out to his open teammates. He is the spoon that stirs the drink for this team.

2020 6’2 G Ray Faison

Faison brings energy and a strong mentality to the floor for this team. The senior guard plays above the rim with his athleticism and is a true team-first “glue-guy.” The all-around guard looks to have a big year for his team and will be counted on to step up in a big way for Christ School.
