Player: Jordan Page
Class: 2027
School: Broughton
There has been plenty of chatter around the Raleigh area about a new name rising up the ranks early on, as 2027 6’4 Jordan Page from Broughton High School has certainly seen an uptick early in his career and scouts are taking notice. In talking with several around the region about what they recently saw, Page’s stock is trending upward quickly in the Class of 2027.
He opened several eyes at the John Wall Invitational, and Phenom Hoops was able to view more and study a bit more about his game recently. When you watch this young man operate on the court, there are certainly several areas of his game that impress and show that he could be trending into a big-time prospect here in North Carolina for the Class of 2027.
Right off the bat, he has the size that captures your eyes at 6’4. You don’t always see players at his age with his frame and what he could potentially be in the coming years. He has a long frame and wingspan that makes you think there is still room for growth as well. But diving more into his game, one can see that Page excels early on in using that frame to his advantage, attacking the basket and finding ways to finish at the rim and over defenders. Page does an excellent job of consistently being assertive and not settling. But he also shows a very strong feel in reading the defense and picking his spots. He shows the ability to knock down mid-range shots, especially showing flashes of his one-dribble pull-up with a smooth release and at a controlled pace. You also have to like how he competes on the boards, using that wingspan and athleticism well in other areas.
There are still areas of improvement but again, we are talking about a young freshman just starting his story. On the season, Page is nearly averaging a double-double at 17.3ppg and 9.8rpg, and it is clear he should be one on a lot of radars in the coming years.
