What Does This Mean for Butler

This is a huge get for Butler, as it not only continues a huge 2025 recruiting class but it also gives the program a very good recruit that should be able to flourish in a variety of ways.  We have watched Oliogu a few times, with us having said this nearly two years ago early on:

“Oliogu was one that we had seen before and were interested in watching once again. The 6’6 prospect didn’t disappoint, as he really captured our eyes and showed why he has the attention of high-major programs around the country. He plays with tremendous pace, as the combo guard showcased how strong and physical he can be, how he excels downhill and at the rim, his ability to operate from multiple levels and score in a variety of ways, and his vision as well. Oliogu impressed and think his name should only continue to pop up with college coaches.”

He has only continued to develop and add more to his game, as high-major programs were looking to recruit him hard. But it was Butler that ultimately won out, as Oliogu will be able to bring a strong frame, a high-flying athlete, and one that can help fill it up offensively. And with the recruiting class Butler already has, this is a big win for the program and their future.
