We can feel confident about saying this… the class of 2024 in North Carolina is absolutely LOADED and deep; it may be one of the deepest classes we have had in quite some time.  Everywhere you look in the class, you can find talent that should be targets for an array of programs.

But two guards that are part of that class that might not get all the attention that they deserve are 2024 Carson and Chase Daniel.  An interesting story with these two, Phenom Hoops had both of them showcase their skill last summer at the Phenom All-American Camp but that was just the first showing of what they could provide on the court.  Then, we stumbled upon them again during the high school season at Central Cabarrus, where we got an even better glimpse of the impact these two have on both ends of the court.

And they have only continued to showcase their impact and why college coaches should be taking notes early on both of them. These two are tremendous playing together but also playing their own game at the same time. The Daniel twins feed off each other, allowing them both to switch off of playing on and off the ball, and are absolute difference-makers on the defensive end. Defensively, these two may be two of the best on-ball defenders in the class and make their presence is known in a full-court press, something they have found success at Central Cabarrus doing. Creating turnovers and turning them quickly is the name of the game for these two and they do it quite well. Offensively, they play with such a great IQ and feel with the ball in their hands, creating with his dribble and penetrating the lane, finishing strong through/around defenders, but also being that perfect balance of getting others involved and bringing that team mentality.

Two terrific young men both on and off the court, Carson and Chase Daniel have built a pretty strong resume for themselves and should be a hot topic this upcoming season for college coaches.  They will look to lead the charge again and anyone looking for to difference-makers all over the floor should be watching these two in the coming years.
