New names broke out at the HS Summer Jam Fest in North Carolina

6'8' 2020 Todd Burt
Word of God (Raleigh, NC)

Burt played on Garner's JV team last year. A transfer (and reclass) to Word of God and Burt is now becoming a high level prospect. Standing around 6'8' now, Burt has incredibly long arms and a wing's skill set. He led the team in scoring in their final game, dropping 17 points on two made 3s. The stroke looks good and his ability to put it on the floor for 1 and 2 dribbles is efficient. This recruiting could take on a high level feel very soon, the upside is easily apparent.

6'8' 2018 Jaylin Gamble
Ben L Smith (Greensboro, NC)

What a difference a year makes. You look at Gamble and realize the amount of work he has put in to get to this point. Gamble has dropped over 30 pounds and completely reshaped his body over the last year. He now is a strong bodied low block player who has good feet and very passer friendly hands. Gamble is an active rebounder and shows consistent touch over his left shoulder. Gamble is a Division 1 big man who should see his stock sky rocket heading into July with offers soon to follow.

6'8' 2018 Andrew Gordon
High Point Christian (High Point, NC)

Gordon intrigued because of his length and motor. He has very long arms and is a quick jumper with good timing. He also showed the ability to grab a rebound and push the ball up the floor with control and pace. While Gordon is still raw and putting things together there were numerous glimpses of what he could be. With patience this one could pay off for a gambler.

6'1' 2018 John Jones
Northside Christian (Charlotte, NC)

Jones is jet quick with the ball in his hands oftentimes beating the opposing team down the floor after stating behind. He was able to get in the lane often and finished through contact while at the rim. This was our first viewing of Jones, but he left the event with all of us intrigued. He should turn some heads in July and heading into next school season.

6'4' 2018 Tre Harvey
Western Alamance (Elon)

The lefty has been a constant at Phenom events over the last couple years, and heading into his senior season things seem to be coming together. Harvey is a lengthy wing guard who plays with a nice pace and has athleticism and explosion heading downhill toward the rim. When his feet are set, Harvey is a very good shooter and has the chops to be a very good wing defender. He is one to watch progress over July as we feel he is a scholarship type player.
