Ranked as the No. 1 player in North Carolina in the class of 2021, 6’8 Dontrez Styles continues to prove why he is one of the top prospects around the region and more programs seem to be reaching out about him.

Already holding offers from Texas A&M, Xavier, Wake Forest, DePaul, NC State, Maryland, St. John’s, Clemson, VCU, East Carolina, Georgetown, USF, Pittsburgh and Ole Miss, Styles recently reported to Phenom Hoops that there have been a few new schools that have been expressing interest his way.

“Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia, Kansas, and Virginia Tech are the new schools that have been in touch,” Styles said.

“All they have been saying is that I would be a great fit for their program.  North Carolina and Louisville are showing the most interest right now.

North Carolina said I would be a great fit and they love how I can play all three levels, just need to tighten some things up.  Louisville is basically the same and they will be seeing me during the summer.”

They haven’t mentioned anything about an offer as of yet.  Styles also mentioned that he doesn’t have any visits set up in the future yet either.

Styles on his latest offer from Texas A&M:

“Great school it would be a good fit, they like big wings.”
