6’7” 2026 Trevor Manhertz (Green Level)

Manhertz was, in my opinion, the biggest stock riser from the weekend, showcasing his intriguing physical tools and high level shooting ability in a heightened role for the Gators. He was comfortable attacking with his off hand, finished through contact well, and made some really impressive passing reads. He averaged 17.7 PPG on the weekend with shooting splits of 50/47/93. His untapped physical upside, overall offensive prowess, and improved toughness makes him an incredibly intriguing prospect in North Carolina’s 2026 class.

6’5” 2026 Khaleil Walters (Clayton)

Walters had a phenomenal weekend, finishing first or second on his team in all five major stat categories. He averaged 11.7 PPG and 6 RPG while shooting an impressive 72% from the floor. He was arguably the most dominant defensive presence in attendance, stifling the ball at the point of attack and making a barrage of highlight plays in passing lanes and as a rim protector. His athleticism, motor, and instincts caught the attention of many, but it was his improved ability to comfortably score at all three levels that made his performance this weekend as noteworthy as it was.

6’10” 2026 Will Stevens (Davidson Day)

Given his slew of high major offers, it’s hard to imagine that Stevens could improve his stock higher than it currently is, but that’s exactly what he did with his dominant showing this past weekend. He averaged 14.3 PPG, 11.3 RPG, and 2.3 BPG on 47/33/80 shooting splits. He was highly efficient when working out of the low post, playing with good patience, footwork, and touch around the rim. He spaced the floor well and punished defenses when they dared him to shoot. He was highly physical defensively, outworking stronger opponents for rebounds and anchoring the paint well.

6’3” 2025 Chance Gladden (Ravenscroft/Boston U)

Gladden’s efficient scoring outbursts are nothing new to those following the NC basketball scene closely. His performance this weekend is further proof that Boston U got one of the best pickups of the cycle. Gladden’s ability to do what he does well, regardless of opponent, platform, or circumstances is simply impossible to overstate. While playing all but one minute this weekend, he averaged 30.3 PPG, 12.7 RPG, and 3.3 APG with shooting splits of 46/42/87 on heavy usage. He plays within himself, doesn’t force tough shots, and is an absolute killer within 0-2 dribbles.

5’9” 2028 AJ Morman (Southern Durham)

Morman is the lone underclassman on this list and was arguably the most talked about performer of the weekend. He averaged 18 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 1.7 SPG while posting 50/60/69 shooting splits. His ability to generate paint touches, navigate tight spaces, and create openings for himself was impossible to ignore. He got wherever he wanted on the floor, despite being guarded by bigger and stronger defenders on most possessions. His combination of a quick first step and great body control led to him getting to the rim seemingly at will and converting tough looks consistently. He highlighted his weekend with a 27 point, 7 rebound performance against eventual bracket champions John Marshall and a game winning three in Southern’s first game against Sidwell Friends.
