2024 Jason Asemota (Run the Citi): Asemota came in as one of the premier headliners for the event, as the nationally ranked 5-star had all eyes on him and he performed extremely well. With this being our first viewing of the 6’9 prospect, one could see why he was so highly regarded in his class and could even rise up the ranks even more. Asemota though showed it all; whether it was his athleticism, his ability to create for himself, rise up over defenders from multiple levels, be a presence on the defensive end and on the boards, or simply be a playmaker, he has all the tools that college coaches would love to have. He plays unselfish on the floor but you can see that he could turn it on and be one of the top prolific scorers in the country.
2024 Jordan Vick (Team Trezz): It was a slow first day for the 2024 guard but Vick started to find his rhythm on Day 2 and Day 3, reminding everyone of his scoring capability. Vick is such an interesting guard for how well he can score the ball and in the number of ways he can do it in. Whether it’s his pull-up in transition, his ability to get by defenders with his quickness, or his athleticism to finish at the rim or get fouled, Vick mixes his offensive game really well. Also continues to show his progress in getting others involved as well.
2023 Patrick Tivnan (Team HOPE): Tivnan had a lot of buzz coming in and college coaches wanted to check him out. It is safe to say that he certainly impressed and attracted more eyes his way, as Tivnan elevated and showed just what he can bring to the table. As a forward, Tivnan has superb footwork on the court, whether it is in the post or if he steps out and puts it on the deck. The 6’8 prospect can really be a mismatch nightmare on the court and is usually quicker than most bigs but also can stretch the court with his skillset. Don’t be surprised if you start hearing his name more.
2023 Micah Jones (Strong Center): Jones had an excellent first LIVE period and it was going to be interesting to see how he was going to back that up during his second go around. He proved that he belonged, as he simply continued to show how effective he can be as a point guard and as a scoring threat. Jones plays with a natural balance, looking to find his teammates and create off the dribble, but uses his speed to
2023 Anthony Breland (Team EAT): Breland put on a scoring clinic in Session 1 and he backed that up once again during the second LIVE period. The 6’4 guard continues to show that he can create and get any shot he wants, getting downhill, embracing contact, and finding ways to finish through. But he also showed he is a multi-level scorer that can get where he wants; to put it simply, he is wired to score and wouldn’t be denied.
2023 Nick Dorn (Anthony Morrow): Dorn has really seen his game elevate over the last year, as his game has continued to develop and grow, as well as his frame. The rising senior came to put his game on display in front of college coaches, and he showed how much of a gamechanger he could be with his perimeter game but also his development in his overall arsenal offensively. He was able to get to his spots and showed the utmost confidence in his shot, as he let it fly all weekend long.
