Chase Lowe

At the Phenom G3 Showcase, it really started to come to light how these three players are some of the more underrated and underrecruited players in the state for the Class of 2022. 2022 6'5 Chase Lowe, 2022 6'1 Xavier McKelvy, and 2022 6'5 Karon Boyd all bring something unique to the floor with their game but one thing they all have in similar… production.

Starting with 2022 6'5 Chase Lowe, there aren't too many players with his IQ, his size, his play-making ability, and his leadership/winning ways.  Lowe continues to bring a ton of production with his game, whether it is attacking the paint and finishing strong with his body or making the high IQ play to set up his teammates.  I can only imagine many coaches saying that they would love to have a 6'5 point guard leading the way and one that has his winning mentality.  That is why it is hard to believe that the young man still holds no D1 offers.

Moving on to 2022 Xavier McKelvy is another one and honestly, I'm not quite sure what else this young man needs to show or do to earn more offers his way.  Some may look at his size but I'm certainly taking his production, his athleticism, and his competitiveness over other players.  McKelvy is a three-level scorer and shows it time and time again, but also impacts the game on the defensive end and on the boards.  He excels both on and off the ball, plays with a good motor, and brings a ton of athleticism to the table with his game.  It is why it is perplexing that more schools are coming his way.

Lastly, we look at 6'5 Karon Boyd, a player that I certainly enjoy watching on the floor.  Boyd simply is a do-it-all type player, whether you need him to defend multiple positions, dive and create extra opportunities for his team, score from multiple levels, compete down in the post or on the glass, or even help facilitate and get the offense going, Boyd is one that puts his team first and simply helps his team rack up the wins.  Coaches would love to have that on their team, which is why it is a little surprising more schools haven't come into play for him.

These three are just to name a few because you could have several other players appear on this list.  But with their play this past weekend at the Phenom G3 Showcase, Lowe, McKelvy, and Boyd should all see an uptick in their recruitment and fast!
