Taking a dive into the 2A Division, Conference 34 is looking to be a battle-tested conference with teams going up against each other. But as for right now, T.W. Andrews sits on top and undefeated in conference play so far, off to a 4-0 start and 11-2 overall on the season.
At times, when you look into teams, you see that they are blowing other opponents out on a regular basis but there is something also to be said about teams that understand how to win close battles. Early on, the Red Raiders were winning several games by double-digits but also had some tough losses. But they have now won six in a row and some haven't been easy, with a few single-digit wins and some tough battles.
When you dive more into this team, the Red Raiders are mostly made up of juniors and sophomores. They have several players that play and understand their role, as they have a balanced attack. But 2023 Woodrow Jackson is leading the charge and is having an excellent season, averaging 16.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. But players like 2023 Keshawn Gunthrop, 2024 Corey Pate Jr. 2023 Jalen Bennet, and others are contributing to the team's success this season.
Could T.W. Andrews be a team to watch in the 2A Division in North Carolina' Right now, they are really clicking and it will be interesting to see if they can continue their success.
